Small Grants Available

Refugee Week 19-25 June 2023

The purpose of Refugee Week is to raise awareness of refugee experiences and issues both locally and globally, to express and celebrate refugee contributions to Bradford District currently and historically, and to campaign for a less hostile environment. The theme for RW23 is “Compassion”

Stronger Communities at Bradford Council is awarding groups across the Bradford District small grants for the Refugee Week 2023 (RW23) programme. This small grants scheme is being made available to encourage and enable participation in the week’s events and activities.

The RW23 Small Grants Scheme can fund Community Groups up to a maximum of £250 (per group) The fund is for groups that want to participate in RW23 by organising an event or activity, which can be a one off or part of a wider project (exhibition trails, or Great Get Together for example), and can be a public or private event.

The application criteria and process is straightforward, accessible and has planned timescales. Applications close on 23 April 2023

If you would like to find out more please read the RW23 Small Grants Guidelines first, and then apply using the RW23 Small Grants Application Form
