Your Voice – Strategy Consultation

Your Voice – Strategy Consultation

People who live, work or study in the Bradford District are being asked to help to create a new Bradford for Everyone strategy by sharing their thoughts and ideas about what’s already great about the district and what could make it an even better and more inclusive place to be.

By spending just a few minutes to answer some key questions through a short online survey or by joining a range of public consultation events, people will help to shape our shared approach to supporting all of our communities, creating a Bradford District for everyone.

The strategy that is being co-produced with the district’s people will lead the direction of our work with communities between 2024-30, so residents are encouraged not to miss out on an opportunity to have their say on a wide range of topics from “Belonging and Community”, to “Fairness and Trust, and “Hopes and Dreams”.

To take part in the online consultation please visit https://tinyurl.com/BradfordForEveryoneSurvey – other versions and formats are mentioned below.

In addition to the main online survey we will also be holding a series of focus group consultations with local groups of all backgrounds, and running three larger open consultation sessions with the general public. These will be as follows and everyone is very welcome to come along and contribute their ideas, feelings and suggestions:

Thursday 22 June (09:30 – 16:30) Airedale Shopping Centre, Keighley

Friday 23 June (09:30 – 16:30) Broadway Shopping Centre, Bradford

Monday 10 July (9:30 – 16:30) Shipley, Market Square

For anyone who would prefer to answer the questions on a paper form please download it here or request a copy from the team at stronger.communities@bradford.gov.uk

A more accessible version of the survey is available here. This could be useful for younger people, those with certain learning difficulties or people with lower levels of English literacy.

Our two surveys close on 31st July 2023 at 11.59pm. However, we are always glad to hear from members of the public or professionals with ideas or suggestions around how we can all help to make the district a Bradford for Everyone. So if you missed this particular consultation please do contact us to share you thoughts at any time.
