Hajj
Hajj (Muslim)- is the obligatory pilgrimage to Makkah, Saudi Arabia, that all Muslims must perform once in their lifetime if they are physically and financially capable. It involves performing a series of rituals by millions of Muslims simultaneously, symbolising solidarity and equality between all people. The complete submission to Allah brings a renewal and strength of one’s faith and spirituality.

National Windrush Day
National Windrush Day (although can be celebrated anytime of the year) - This marks the day when, in 1948, over 490 people from the Caribbean arrived in England to start new lives in the United Kingdom. In the subsequent years, Britain invited many people from across the British Empire. On this day, we pay our respects to the important contribution these people and their children have made to Britain.
