People who live, work or study in the Bradford District are being asked to help to create a new Bradford for Everyone strategy by sharing their thoughts and ideas about what’s already great about the district and what could make it an even better and more inclusive place to be.
By spending just a few minutes to answer some key questions through a short online survey or by joining a range of public consultation events, people will help to shape our shared approach to supporting all of our communities, creating a Bradford District for everyone.
The strategy that is being co-produced with the district’s people will lead the direction of our work with communities between 2024-30, so residents are encouraged not to miss out on an opportunity to have their say on a wide range of topics from “Belonging and Community”, to “Fairness and Trust, and “Hopes and Dreams”.
In addition to the main online survey we will also be holding a series of focus group consultations with local groups of all backgrounds, and running three larger open consultation sessions with the general public. These will be as follows and everyone is very welcome to come along and contribute their ideas, feelings and suggestions:
Thursday 22 June (09:30 – 16:30) Airedale Shopping Centre, Keighley
Friday 23 June (09:30 – 16:30) Broadway Shopping Centre, Bradford
Monday 10 July (9:30 – 16:30) Shipley, Market Square
Our two surveys close on 31st July 2023 at 11.59pm. However, we are always glad to hear from members of the public or professionals with ideas or suggestions around how we can all help to make the district a Bradford for Everyone. So if you missed this particular consultation please do contact us to share you thoughts at any time.
Any questions about this consultation please do get in touch!

Interfaith study visit from Fresno Pacific University to Bradford, UK
On June 27th 2023 a group of university students from Fresno Pacific University in California will be undertaking a study visit to Bradford, UK. The visit follows on from a joint online series of webinars led by Bradford for Everyone involving organisations in Bradford and Fresno to discuss shared interfaith topics.
This collaborative learning discussion has included workshops focused on interfaith responses to the pandemic, interfaith support for migrant communities, humanism and faith, LGBTQ+ and faith, Islamophobia and Antisemitism, international faith complexities and how faith can improve integration and cohesion.
During their excursion to Bradford the group from California will be visiting a variety of local organisations. These will include Bradford Foundation Trust, the Millside Centre and the University of Bradford, to discuss how changes in faith diversity are shaping the UK narrative.
