Small Grants Available – Hate Crime Awareness Week

Following the success of the Refugee Week Small Grant Programme Stronger Communities are pleased to present a similar scheme for Hate Crime Awareness Week 2023 (14-21 October).

Groups and organisations can apply for funds of up to £250 to hold events throughout Hate Crime Awareness Week 2023. Application must be submitted via email by 21 August 2023 at the latest.

Events should be aimed at:

  • Preventing hate crime,
  • Increasing the reporting of hate crime,
  • Responding to and building an understanding of hate crime across communities, and
  • Improving support for the victims of hate crime.

Completed applications must be marked ‘for the attention of’ (FAO) Jon Dolby and sent by email to stronger.communities@bradford.gov.uk by 21/8/2023.

Hate Crime Awareness Week – 14–21 October 2023

Bradford District is proud to support the annual National Hate Crime Awareness Week of action.

The 2023 Events Programme highlights some key events and activities running across the district. There will be a Service of Hope and Remembrance on Monday 16 October, at Bradford Cathedral and a series of workshops, training sessions, and pop-up stalls happening throughout the week.
